Geoscience Diplomacy Programme
As part of its Geoscience Diplomacy programme, the Council for Geoscience hosted the Botswana Chamber of Mines at the head office in Pretoria on 24 March 2025. The meeting served as an introductory meeting between the two organisations with the purpose of exchanging and sharing knowledge as well as ideas around exploration and possible future collaborations. The CGS team was led by Mr Willem Meintjes, Executive Manager: Integrated Geoscience Development. While Mr Charles Siwawa, CEO led the Botswana delegation.
